In this blog, I, Sarah from team Natural Yachts, would like to tell you more about the Nexus Revo 870 and why this is a very suitable and fun boat to explore (for example) the Netherlands with. I would like to take you ‘onboard’ the Nexus Revo 870 and tell you what this motorboat has to offer.
A sloop with more comfort The Nexus Revo 870 has the size of a large sloop but offers a lot of inside and outside comfort. The spacious interior offers many possibilities. The Nexus Revo 870, a motorboat with a cabin height of 1.97 m, a toilet cabin with sink and optional a shower, a kitchen with (induction) hob, fridge, optional freezer, a comfortable seating area with dining table and two cabins with double beds.
Outside, you can enjoy everything a stay on the water has to offer. You can choose your own spot of tranquillity to relax, for example in front of the boat on the sun deck cushions or on the bench. While boating, you can enjoy the comfortable captain's chair that is adjustable for optimal comfort. Is it time for a bite and a drink? Then you can sit comfortably in the cockpit around the table. The captain's chair is easy to turn for an extra seat.
Do you like swimming? In all privacy you can change inside after which it is very easy to enter the water from the swimming platform with the fold-out bathing ladder. After swimming, you can take a shower with the outdoor shower or in the bathroom cabin.
The Nexus Revo 870 can be used as a sloop for a nice day trip. However, it is certainly nice, if you have found a lovely mooring or want to make a longer trip, you can stay on board; cook, sleep, shower, you do not have to worry about anything. Because we all know that feeling, when you have found a nice spot on the water and it is getting more quiet on the water you actually do not want to go home yet. The Nexus Revo 870 offers you the comfort to make your stay on the water as long as you like, and when it is getting chilly outside, you can always go inside.
A motorboat with low air draft The Nexus Revo 870 is available with a hard top or with a convertible top. The hard top version has an air draft of 2.73 m. The convertible version of the Nexus Revo 870 has an air draft of 2.27 m, allowing you to pass under most fixed bridges so you can also discover alternative routes. In addition, the convertible top can be used flexibly so you can always optimally enjoy the outdoors.
An electric boat The Nexus Revo 870 is not only available with an outboard motor, but also with a 100% electric motor. In addition to being good for nature, boating without emissions is also extremely comfortable. You can cruise while hearing the sounds of nature and you can talk without being overruled by the sound of the engine. This allows you to maximally enjoy boating while you can completely relax.
The electric version of the Nexus Revo 870 motorboat is standard equipped with a minimum range of: Speed @ 7km/h ca 10 hours, range 70 km Speed @ 9km/h ca 6 hours, range 55 km Speed @ 11km/h ca 4 hours, range 44 km
The battery pack can be extended to a longer range if required. It is also possible to add a zero-emission range extender, the methanol fuel cell, which allows you to boat independent of shore power and zero-emission.
An open or closed layout The Nexus Revo 870 offers various interior options. As standard, there are 2 cabins with double beds that are longer than 2 metres. You can choose an open layout or a layout with closed cabins with a door. It is also possible to close one cabin and leave another open for extra spaciousness.
